I'm not getting it, screw that.

I already tried shingles shot in 2016 and was sick for 1.5 years, always tired and weak and lost strength. I think anybody with Indigenous bloodline should avoid any type of European medicine. I even was in a shingles class action lawsuit until the lawyers pulled a fast one on me.

I haven't had a flu shot since 2011, since every time I got the flu shot I got really sick with the worst sore throat and now since not getting the flu shot I haven't had any type of flu type symptoms, I do have a bad cold but would go away in about two days.

I'll probably get one when we become eligible, that is...when my wife is ready to. She's a little leery of it right now.

Mostly because of the way Fauci and the CDC handled everything, changing information from week to week, us not knowing if they even knew what they were doing. Hell, the tests from different suppliers couldn't even be trusted to give us solid data in a timely manner.

And now they are revising the Covid tests so they are “less sensitive” meaning more negative tests now making Pedo Joe look like he solved Covid. Now the media is stating the tests aren’t accurate. This was known when Trump was in office. But that narrative was shutdown. The current tests can pick up any cold even if you had one a month before the test meaning if you're sick AT ALL you will get a positive outcome. Covid is real, but there is a political game being played at our nations expense.....

A rough estimate of vaccine efficacy against developing COVID-19 symptoms, with or without a positive PCR test result, would be a relative risk reduction of 19% — far below the 50% effectiveness threshold for authorization set by regulators. ~ Peter Doshi

A buddy and i were discussing this today. We have a few anti vax friends in common. I made a quick mental list of friends ive had in depth conversations obout this with . 2 Drs , a dentist , 3 veryyyy rich businessmen , a drug rep ,a very successful farmer , a gym owner , 2 nurses , a truck driver , a roofer and a tool salesman. Guess which ones are completely and totally against it , one is actively protesting , and 2 never finished high school.

Had the virus a few months back...No idea how medicine has changed to the point they want you to get a vaccine AFTER natural exposure.
????

So you're saying if someone has ever had the flu, never to get the flu shot??

This isn't a debate on the effectiveness of the vaccine....I'm just wondering about your comment...

What i cant understand is how long it protects against Covid? I thought (and I'm no doctor) that vaccines protected for life or at least a very long time but it seems these vaccines only work for a few months? Is that correct?

Get your vaccines everyone! They're free!

If you don't get vaccinated, you don't care about others.

I'm predicting (eventually) forced vaccinations. Much like our voluntary tax system...it'll be technically voluntary. Harry Reid explains it well.

Good buddy builder dude just got out of the hospital after 6 days there w Covid. He went in with mild symptoms, they put him in a "ventilator room", something he explained was like a pressurized room which works the same as a ventilator. He got sixker and sicker while in the hospital. They had him on 8 different medications and said he got to a point where he just wanted out of the hospital.

He got out 6 days later and the day after he started feeling better. He called me yesterday to tell me about it and also said they insisted that he get vaccinated when he left.

He asked them, why would I? Didn t i build immunity to covid? You should still get vaccinated, they told him.
He told them to shove it.

Moral of the story is...don t end up in the Hospital. They will do their best to kill you

I had my 2nd Moderna shot 3 weeks ago - sore arm at the injection site and flu symptoms for a few hours the next day. Only reason I got it was to fly - I envisage it will be difficult to visit some countries for the near future without having the vaccine

why? Should we make people larger than a typical coach seat prove they are on some kind of regimine to become svelte?
I live in the United States and I couldnt give a shit what some other country wants.

The vaccine is to create antigens, flags for the next time such a virus presents itself in your body.
The antigens flag the infection bits and the antibodies attack it.

The virus gets subdued, the antibodies get re-absorbed as do the antigens however, the antigens stay in your system library for future use should the virus appear again.

The problem is when a mutation arises of the former virus. It's similar but not the same so the antigens won't flag it properly if at all.
The body has to take time to make new flags to target the infection with so the antibodies know what to attack.

A vaccine just gives your body a head start on fighting an infection.

It isn't a cure.
