Rossi is sixth in the points, tied with Maverick, and hasn't finished higher than 3rd this season. He also DNF'd the first race. Yet, he's still in contention.

Quartararo is seems like he was a two race wonder
Dovi is all over the place
Miller has been pretty consistent, maybe more so than even Rossi.
Mir has two DNF's
Vinales was also hot for the first two, but his last four outings has been lack luster.

Who's your pick?

There is no pick

Casey Stoner said it best in a recent interview where he claimed 2020 can barely be called a championship

With MM out of it, a lot of the riders believe this is their big chance and we're seeing it in the results

Because there is minimal track diversity since the season is bound to Europe, if you're one of the guys that is weak at any of'em, you're going to suck. That's the only real consistency this year

Of course MotoGP is on a tear. The paddock is a pedrosa-free environment now.
Wifey doesn't miss Lorenzo one bit, either.

Marquee sits at home and, gets more than half the column inches in the media, and still gets paid by the shipping containers of cash.

Nakagami learned how to ride at least as consistently as anybody else. He's head and shoulders The Fast Jap these days.

Funny but this may have been the year for Pedrosa.
Consistency I'd guess goes to Miller or Rossi. A good season to watch though. So much better with MM out, all the riders are chomping at the bit.
