No more crunching noises but there is a new/different level of pain that I hope to work through.

Time is my friend hopefully!

Thanks for the heads up!
No engine or piano moving for a few months. 🫡
The wife has spinal fusion surgery on Monday, they said 12 weeks recovery.

Good luck, hope this resolves your issues.

Looks like fun Scott. I bet they were good.
There's nothing like it. It's a pool of musicians. Excellent musicians. They pick the best ones for each particular job. This job was Fleetwood Mac's Rumors album, front to back. Close your eyes, and you are hearing the album. They cover big name bands' music better than the originals. I've seen them do Pink Floyd DSOTM, Lex Zeppelin 4, and now this. All just amazing fucking shows. I highly recommend you check them out any chance you get.

During My plug change I had to attend a zoom meeting with Cadillac and Mobile One.

Basically some oil chemical guy that knows a hell of a lot about oil.. but won't tell us about the NASA oil they supply...

John force has his own formular.

The new Flat plane Corvette calls for 5 50 .. while the LT4 motors have a new 0 40 bulletin and new oil fill caps will be made... most Cadillac dealers don't have a good Supply of the New " Moble 1 super car oil"

I'd enjoy torturing to death the Nip who just couldn't give you that extra 13mm of pipe clearance so you could get the fucking oil filter in and out! View attachment 130188
Refresh my memory...will the filter drop out once you get the door out of the way?

I dimly remember having to pull the pipe out of the filter door to remove the door on some version of a big block Kaw...I was determined NOT to drop the exhaust system...

(But, yeah...many times I completed a job while muttering death threats under my breath against the engineers from a couple of companies...)

Easy to get it apart, not so easy to get it back in with the washer and spring not falling off. You have to slide to cover over while pushing up against the cup, spring, washer and filter!
I take the muffler clamp off, take the bottom pipe bolt out, pull the pipe out and down at the muffler and wedge a 2x4 between the shock and muffler to give me a fighting chance. Still a fucking pain in the ass! Maybe if I laid the thing on its side it would be easier.

Is that the stock exhaust??

The Hindle on mind....and I assumed all aftermarket exhaust???......just need to unbolt the can clamp and then four?? springs..and the mid-pipe and can slip out....maybe 2 minutes??

Getting the clamp back on always takes a little persuasion....

Mounted a retractable air line for the front of the garage.. then ran a line to the Compressor which is in the back of the garage. No I have lines by the work benches in the back and the front retractable will reach outside and do car and bike duty.

Uh, you do realize there is a penguin in a plastic bag suffocating on your scooter, right?

Has Vegas12 been visiting you again?
