Interesting timing.
I was just re-reading the Lizzy Borden story last night after noticing that one of our board limey's license plate has both "AX" and "TX" in it.
Coulda sworn Texas has a mass ax killer but couldn't find it so musta been a different state.

They are asking people to be on the lookout for a red sport-type motorcycle. The driver was wearing a white/multicolor helmet and dark clothing and was last seen leaving the scene of a serious assault on Mirtl Road in Willington.
Wasn't one of Tin's busa' a red'ish color?

Word is the satellite trucks are already nesting around town hall for a news conference...

24 hours after the attack-
Bike and helmet found at end of dead end road maybe 5 miles away.
Suspected ax murderer not found yet.
If spotted, do not approach call 911.

WTF is anybody supposed to spot? Take away the bike and helmet, the remaining description is "dark clothes".
Cops are frustrating many by being tight lipped.

The wife's Facebook account has more than the cops say.
I'm not alone in my misgivings, apparently.
Will they shut off Facebook?

Probably just avoid anyone with an Axe.

LOL maybe you need to learn the definition of "dope". :):) In addition, and you are only speaking of "hempage" I believe it is not in fact "legal" per se. :) You cannot buy a firearm and fill out a 4473 without committing a Felony if you are a "Legal" user :)

LOL... some are so wrapt up in legalities... they usually have the most to hide...

my life is an open book... and i own zero firearms that i bought...

now i have inherited a few muskets and other antiques ...

Shall Not Be Infriged is a mouthfull... still not sure how these asshats keep trying to chip away at it...

But wait there's more dep't-
Suspect is kawpuke jock, a football playing bouncer at a college bar who rides a red zx14.
I am suspecting heavily the "edged weapon" was a shovel from Ted's own barn. :eek4:

Summing up, the search is on for an ax murderer in his early 20's of above average strength. The search is taking place in one of the most remote sparsely populated areas of the state. "The authorities" see no need for a general alert, just press releases that say isolated incident if you see a jock in dark clothing carrying an ax or shovel call 911.

...not far from you....
The authorities are searching the outbuildings on the property to the east of mine up on the hill.
Should we load up a few things and go have a sighting in session up there again? :comeandgetsome::hunter::ak:

Into his second day on the lam, there must be hunger pangs.
If a guy carrying an ax or shovel asks you for a sandwich, call 911.

My shovel hypothesis is headed for the trash heap.
Something has to be behind the less than trickle of information from the authorities.
If it were a bear running around, there would be drones, dogs, and helicopters.
An ax murderer, call us if you see one.

Sunrise of the second morning after the attack.
No updates whatsoever, "if you see him call us".

The prevailing attitude seems startlingly laissez-faire for having an ax murderer wandering around in the woods for days.

The latest 8AM reports seem to put him back on his 14, were the earlier findings of a bike and helmet dead end leads? Possible things are quiet in town because they don't think he's in town.

A door breached, cops blanketing, Turnpike Rd. is closed.
Perhaps an unconscious man and a missing gun a short jog away?

As another report comes in that he's somewhere on the other side of the state.
