Looks like everyone had a great time, awesome! I would like to meet up with everyone up that way again. Maybe do a day at laguna next year

I think this winter it might also be good to hit Chuckwalla again (hopefully a couple times?). It's 10 hours I think, it's also your home court so to speak. It's been on my radar for the last couple of months. In some ways easier than Laguna's venue. Price wise CVR is also a lot cheaper if there is a concern there. Laguna is about the most pricy venue on the west coast with CVR maybe the most reasonable? Probably by the time I pay for diesel it would be a wash to do Laguna...
Chuckwalla is certainly not as famous as Laguna Seca, but is absolutely a great facility/track. The open session format makes for lots of time for everyone or if they run groups thats good too.

I was talking to Rob from Motofit quite a bit Sunday and he told me that he has next years schedule for The Ridge Motorsports Park (Shelton Wa) and ORP (Grass Valley Or). I should get that this week sometime. He and all of his control riders I spoke to said Supermoto at ORP is hysterically fun. (more on Sumo at Thill west later). Robs a cool guy.
If you haven't rode the Ridge yet it's super fun. I think Rob said he's there the following week after MotoAmerica (don't quote me on that) which would be 4th of July Weekend. The 4th is a Saturday next year. He partners with Carter's at the Track so a lot of those guys might be up there. I'm putting The Ridge high on my list. I could do a partial transport for you (Stu) if you get one of your bikes to Thunderhill or I can figure out a ride for you. If you want, you'll have a ride either way. The down side is that once i get up there I might wanna hang for a bit so not sure on a return date.
MotoAmerica at the Ridge, 6/26 to 6/28 in 2020: The Ridge Motorsports Park Set To Host MotoAmerica In 2020
If anyone wants to go to MotoAmerica be warned, there is one road into that place and its gonna be a clusterfuck (in and out). Hotels in that area are already showing pressure (I looked). A bunch of us stayed at the Little Creek Casino about 15 minutes away, clean, good prices, and it was pretty fun. They still have rooms (and RV hook ups) but I think the hot ticket would be camping at the track and avoiding the traffic. Not sure facitility wise though, you better be prepared to be fully self sufficient as the Ridge last time I was there was pretty under developed in the amenities dept...maybe that has changed ( better for a major event like that) MotoAMerica and the Ridge have both indicated some improvements, but they still look pretty meager. From a spectator standpoint they say they're building a PED bridge. If thats the case you're gonna get some awesome viewing choices. The way the hills are you could park your self on the inside of turn 8 and see a lot of track (5 thru 12?), also between 12 and the front straight would be incredible.
Plus the Pacific North West is spectacular in the Summer. A ride up to Hurricane ridge in the Olympic Mountains would be awesome too....Crescent Lake, hell the entire Olympic peninsula is pretty epic. I might just stay for a month.
