Met a dude in Groton, CT. sub squadron 2 that was the cognoscente Norton fanatic. Poor fucker had 32 years in the Navy but was an E3...(Busted back more times than he could remember). Had a sweet 850 that was his only ride. This was in '84. He was older then than me currently at 57.... Probably one of the most non-bullshit dudes Id ever met. He had tattoos from every country the US was authorized for port. As I reflect, I'd bet he passed on long ago.

Remington brass is short lived in magnum chamberings. I dont know if its chemistry or manufacturing process related.

Norma continues to be the benchmark for long service life from commercially available brass.
