Agreed. Definitely a different wheel set. Maybe shorten the pipes and or dull the brightness.

.50 mm. I dress my cutter aboot every 10th cut. The second cylinder was really fucked. It was honed or something, the spigot was getting cut deep for aboot 25 mm. Then everything quieted down and went straight. I was sweating it the whole tyme. You can go from hero to zero instantly with a boring bar.

That's about as much as I'll push this machine (bore master) I currently use. I had a quick way like yours but lost it in shop fire.Sleeved one last week using oven in house. Had to get it up to around 500°
