That’s when (Karen) Ortiz says she tried to intervene, along with another woman in the aisle next to her watching the tense encounter unfold.

Man refused to wear mask at Trader Joe's in Phoenix, citing Ducey's lack of mask mandate | 12news.com

PHOENIX — Gov. Doug Ducey lifted mask-wearing restrictions two weeks ago, passing on the torch to individual and private businesses to set their own COVID-19 restrictions, but the move is now leading to tense interactions when employees tried to mandate face coverings on customers.

The latest documented incident happened at a Trader Joe’s store near 20th Street and Camelback Road when a cell phone video captured by customer Analise Ortiz shows a total of three employees asking a man to wear a mask or leave the store on Tuesday...

I dont understand why these biz owners get into this kind of argument and why they cause the employees to be the police.

You're not wearing socks after we asked you to put them on.... Our policy is all customers must have socks. END OF CONVO.

911 -- Trespass. Done.

Exactly. The fuckwit customer who decides not to comply with the businesses requirement that all patrons mask up needed to be tased immediately upon refusal to leave. It's not about the masks at all. At burly's store, they will let people know they need a mask on, and if the refuse to comply, they simply won't take their money. Person can come through the line, and then they will just stand there while police are called if necessary. Usually they just leave their shit on the belt and leave. burly hates this mask garbage more than anyone on this forum, but it is what it is and if the store says mask up, then that's that. Freedom baby. Yeah. Unfortunately, here in the people's republic of CA, it's not currently up to the businesses anyway.

..and now THIS shit.....

The face mask that former Minneapolis police Officer Derek Chauvin has been required to wear during his trial in George Floyd's death has hidden his reaction to testimony, including any sympathy or remorse that legal experts say can make a difference to jurors.

SOooooo.... now it's also becoming a "liberty" jurisprudence issue as well.
