Fortunate that I found the leak straight out of the trailer, using the air compressor is lots easier than trying to inflate the tire with a couple CO2 cartridges.

The plugged tire has taken us over 500k the last couple days. We just beat the rain back to the rest of our wheels. New wildlife sightings were a coyote and a male moose. Otherwise it's just the same old elk, ravens, buffaloes, pronghorns, and the like amid the waterfalls, geysers, bubbling mud, and mountains.

Crowds everywhere, babies to centenarians. Less than 50% masked. Seeing Old Faithful is quite similar to attending an Arenacross, crowd wise.

We had a pizza in town


The townies here in West Yellowstone say crowds are pretty light, for what that's worth.

The pizzeria and saloon were doing their best, seating was uncrowded and staff masked.

We're figuring tomorrow to be a less than 150K day, hit up a stroll or two through some of the thermal features between here and Old Faithful. Bubbling mud pots, fumaroles, hot springs are all things it might be a while before we see again.

I'm looking forward to comparing crowds between Yellowstone now and Road America next week. The 4 day commute there should be an easy time to catch up on self isolation, WalMarts and gas stations should be 90% of our outside contact. Elkhart Lake is a MotoAmerica weekend, so I'm not expecting super bowl level crowds.

Will the Dunlop truck be offering specials on a set of Roadsmart III's?
