Shit, No wonder I've been light headed all day. Bystolic is kicking my ass.

And the energy drink my wife have me tasted suspiciously like anti freeze.

What would your BP be without Bystolic. I've been managing mine without pharmaceutical interference.

Those free blood pressure testers that only get used by people waiting to pick up their scrips are worse than just guessing what the numbers are,

Not if they're calibrated once in a while.
You can always ask the pharmacist when the last time it was calibrated.

Mine was 155 over something or other last week.
I'd run out of one of the two pills I take (Losartan) and didn't refill for almost two weeks.

Even if it was kinda wrong, the germ infested machine tells me I'm not doing well.

helpful hint... Use the handi sanitizing wipes at the front of the store to clean the cuff... then stuff your junk in there and push the button...lol. When people look at you funny tell them its a new feature to check for testicular cancer

Here's a tip or two, don't cross your legs during the test and if you don't like your first test, try the other arm.

That's because one is farther from your heart.

(I have no fucking idea, I'm just guessing)
Not a bad guess. Ask most people if BP is higher on the left and they'll say yes, because thats the side where the heart is, but it's usually the right arm that has a slightly higher BP due to the piping configuration that comes out of the heart.

Funny, the last time a nurse took my BP...she freaked out when she saw only 116/62. She just knew it had to be higher on a 60-something year old guy.

She switched arms and got the same reading...
