You can bet all the online preppers businesses will be booming after this. Finally got above freezing today, driving through town only 4 stations have fuel, 2 of the 3 grocery stores were closed, it just doesn't take much to break down society, after only a few days no supplies, no fuel, no food .. this still America, right?
Someone needs to start thinking interstucture about 3 decades ago.
Sorry not for you or Terry he knows everything anyway so ask him. Actually going out there on Monday after my 2nd Covid shot unbelievable what is going on out there right now..
what happens when a ship wreck & train wreck meet in GA?? stay tuned...Ill tell you tomorrow!!Didn't spot any...
20c, breezy and mostly sunny.
This area doesn't seem to take sea level rise as seriously as Florida. There's no build on fill or pylon platform construction. They seem to believe they won't get big 4 meter storm surges any time soon.
Watch the gas stations---they will be getting gas the next 24 hours if not already. It is when the distribution supply runs out in a day or two that it will be UGLY. The refineries are very slow to come on line who knows about damage. Our wells are not producing --- hopefully will soon but salt water disposal is an issue right now.. no grocery are open today in town, none, no food available anywhere for those who need it, they'll only be open sat and sun for 10 hrs for the foreseeable future, out of gas too .2021
Just watched it.I like this version better:
Directed by George Pal. With Rod Taylor, Alan Young, Yvette Mimieux, Sebastian Cabot. A man's vision for a utopian society is disillusioned when travelling forward into time reveals a dark and dangerous society.www.imdb.com
It intrigued my young mind and wasn't half bad special effects for the day.
