When an RPG blows under your HUMMER, it can flip on it's side and expose you to sniper fire.
(Not to mention the shrapnel whizzing into/through your body.)
Luckily, the battery took a lot of the hit.
Chan had shrapnel in his legs/ass, interpreter took it to his ankle.
Then they started taking sniper fire.
The gunner did his duty and fired back.
He was hit several times, but kept getting up and firing back.
He took 7 (SEVEN!!) rounds before he gave up and told Chan he was hit.
If I remember correctly, he took shots to the arm, chest, and head and suffered broken ribs and a collapsed lung.
I don't know what kind of head trauma.
The gunner survived and made it back to the states.
A true hero!
I'm sure he's the reason Kawachan made it home that time.
And it rained the whole way home
when i was 16 i worked at my buddy's pizza place in Bridgeport, CT.WTF does Robino mean anyways?
I would imagine its pretty easy to get bored in Bridgeport...lolwhen i was 16 i worked at my buddy's pizza place in Bridgeport, CT.
he used Robino Bros pizza sauce and when bored, i use to head butt individual cans and dent them. The nickname stuck with me...in high school a lot of people didn't even know my real name.
