Well I haven’t done a very good job of keeping this up to date. Life is busy and I am working and having fun.

Hitting the Carter’s Season Finale up this weekend and it’s been a rush to get the bike ready.

Last night I put a 2020 GSXR 750 rear shock on the 400. This was per Ryan from FLAP and Mr Moss. Ryan is going to put in GP Cartridges on Saturday. My plan Sunday is have Mr Moss set the bike up throughout the day.

Going to ride the Warhorse Saturday and then put the Ninja together Sat night after Ryan is done with the cartridges.

I am excited to see how the Warhorse feels after working most the season on the Ninja. And equally excited to see how the Ninja feels after properly being sprung for my weight.

Big shout out to Vandal who sent me a nice set of warmers that he was no longer using. Thank you sir!

Season finale this past weekend saw the Ninja 400 get a new 2020 GSXR rear shock and GP cartridges in the front.

The suspension transformed the bike instantly which meant within a few laps I was seeing later braking and earlier throttle. Bike felt amazing and I am bummed it’s 3-4 months before the season starts again.

While the Ninja was being worked on Saturday day I was reunited with an old friend. Felt so good to ride the WarHorse again and a bike with some power. I completely forgot what a power wheelie felt like riding the limp dick Ninja. I also forgot how much work it is to ride a 1000, man I was tired after the end of the day.

Saturday night we put the Ninja back together and my friend Ryan made me an awesome deal on a new Hindle full exhaust. Bike has more power but it’s still and always will be down on power. However the exhaust has a sweet note know and it did make more power. Between suspension and exhaust I saw an additional 10 mph down the front straight.

I got our friend the legendary Dave Moss to do an initial setup of the suspension on Saturday night and he tuned it after each session on Sunday

Many of you have met my neighbor Tim. 63 year old stud who has found a new passion in motorcycling the last 18 months. He bought a new R6 and it appears he’s going to be a regular with us at the track. He did his first laps on the 2018 R6 and just came off track smiling from ear to ear. That made me so happy as he’s such a good guy and I am excited to see him excel in this sport with his very detailed and methodical approach he takes at most everything in life.

In closing it was a great year and I learned a lot and advanced from riding in the B group to A group to racing. And as with many things in life when you reach a goal you often find out you don’t know shit and there’s twice as much to learn still than you have previously learned.

So, I will continue to learn and get better and embrace it as I am having fun riding motorcycles and spending time with some of the best people on the planet.
