Good point, Dirty Pete no matter how people felt about him, was very influential in the early shaping of the site. I had many, many back and forths with him that I enjoyed (mostly).
Red, I put more in the category of other long lost souls, Panchop, Buffalo, Squid Vicious, Viol8tr, etc. Some of those guys have passed on, some have moved on.

Connect thru the analog system thru a fax machine jack. SuzookGirl would be off her second shift job and unwinding around 1AM, Kirk was recovering from some injury and would log on stoned as a pig on painkillers, Maui would be wrapping up his day in Hawaii from 2AM est on.

Yngve and I got together here. I think he was on a family vaca and they'd gone to LegoLand or something. I picked him up at the hotel they were staying at in my old Imperial land yacht. We had dinner here at my house and cruised around some. I gave him shit for visiting SoCal in the middle of summer. He lives in Alta, Norway, about 250 miles NORTH of the fucking Arctic Circle. He gets about nine days of summer there and decided to spend those days here. You'd think he'd want to get out of the cold for a bit. I keep up with him on the FB. Really nice dude and way way into very fast things. Lots of fast bikes and snowmobiles. He's got the monster spiked ice tires on his GSXR 1K and rips that around in the winter. Does some racing I think and summertime track days too.

With pre-MotoGP Nicky at the Del Mar Mile probably 2001 or 2002.
My buddy Marc (Howlin' Mad) wasn't able to come and asked me to get him a T-shirt and have Nicky sign it. We both thought 'fat fucking chance on that!' Ended up getting all three Hayden brothers to sign the shirt along with Nicky's parents! Marc was surprised to say the least.
