Looks like it's for real this time

Why do I believe this more than before?

Because it's moving the stock market

Fuck

The stock market moved (nosedived) the moment trumpy opened his yap at the UN.

I'm not liking the way things are going at all.

I was watching CNBC, trumpy was less than a minute into his infantile display when the 3 major indices went negative.

Socialist heaven Norway has all media on delay, how did you miss that? :turboblew:

The formal inquiry gives the Dems much broader powers toward investigation and and the issuing of subpoenas. Even though there's basically no chance Trump would be removed from office, he'd have to endure a Bill Clinton-like public congressional grilling (which he's thus far avoided), and info that he doesn't want released (like tax returns) will be fair game, and there could be shady stuff from his past that's been covered up (NYC real estate development and Atlantic City casino operation aren't the cleanest businesses in the world) in the hopes that it will buy the Dem candidate enough votes to carry a couple swing states.

Don't care about any of that

Trump 2020 is more sure than ever

I hate this because it's going to inject volatility into trading

I was up huge mid-day only for most of it to vanish within seconds of the inquiry announcement

eh, i think they are fully on board with the strategy of "we think there are enough people that simply hate trump out there willing to vote in the next election"....

all of the eggs appear to be in that basket at this point. i havent seen any other actual legitimate platform presented by any of the candidates.

the dems will try to impeach because they have no viable candidates.
it goes to the house and republicans have the vote.

it's not going to happen because there isn't a clause in the constitution for dems don't like him

seriously if Obama had been treated with as much disdain, dems would have been called racist fascist.

tinhead, do you really want aoc and her entitled twatsquad running anything, much less this country?

I say that because they have never known hardship, they didn't see ww1, ww2, koean war, Vietnam war, September 11, 2001, Iraq, Afghanistan. never had to see their parents suffer to put food on the table, roof over their heads, or paid ny state property taxes and school taxes. (26%)( I had a house and 22 acres that costed almost $5000 a year in taxes)
my dad was mohawk lied about his age. (he was 15) in ww2 they would allow him to be in the "colored army" because he was too dark to be white and too white to be dark. he went in the sea bees (merchant marines)for 11 years. while his brother with blue eyes was a mp in the white army for ww2 and was shot 3 times in the Korean war and lost a kidney.
2 of my nephews were in the early days of fallujah, Iraq, 3 tours in Afghanistan and 1 in bosnia.
"the squad" has always known a country in prosperiety. they take it for granted and generally are entitled or elitist.

Really?

I don’t suppose you heard about the 220+ cases, hearings and appeals challenging obama’s Eligibility between 2008 and 2016, the constant babble from the right about him being a ‘secret muslim’ and their obsession with his birth certificates, despite them ( and the verifications) being backed up by the constitution!

How about Mitch mc connell’s comment that the objective of the Republican Party was to ensure Obama was a one term president?

No, Obama had it easy from the right wing 🙄

If Obama had invited the taliban to camp David just before the 9/11 anniversary, you lot would have been screaming for his head, and there would have been RWNJ’s marching in the street.

Trump does it, and the reaction is a resounding ‘meh’

I don't believe Pelosi will impeach, just create proceedings and investigations trying to expose whatever she thinks will embarrass Trump.

Possibly not. I think the whole 'I don't want to move forward on impeachment' deal was theater to make it look like he did something so egregious that she finally was forced to make the move (and it was a safe bet something would come up eventually). Anyone who thinks Pelosi is anything but a brilliant Machiavellian politician is kidding themselves.

Trump could actually be in some trouble here- the Dems have been investigating him since January and quite possibly have been saving some choice info to reveal closer to the election, and I have no doubt state-level investigators (like the New York Southern District, which has been scrutinizing the Trump Org) would be happy to supply the Dems with anything they've uncovered related to his real estate dealings. The impeachment inquiry likely makes his past before taking office fair game, like Slick Willy with Whitewater.

I think she has been timing this impeachment investigation so that it will ramp up close to election time. I seriously doubt his loving audience will vote for anyone else. But maybe it will mobilize more of those who hate Trump. The Electoral College most likely is more republican, so I figure it could be the same as 2016, Trump wins the Electoral, someone else wins the popular. I know Idaho will give all of theirs to whoever is the Republican - winner take all.

I've gotten into this before, but it's all about MI, PA, and WI (possibly FL as well)- all are in play. If a small fraction of Dems who voted for Johnson or Stein as a 'protest vote' in those states (because they were Bernie supporters or just didn't like Clinton but wouldn't vote for Trump) had voted for HRC, she'd have won easily- they likely aren't going to go that route in 2020 and will vote blue no matter who's on the ballot.

I never thought about that.

Hillary Clinton lost Michigan to Donald Trump by fewer than 11,000 votes in 2016, awarding its 16 electoral votes to a Republican for the first time since 1988.

As Goes Pennsylvania, So Goes the 2020 Election | RealClearPolitics

Presently, according to the New York Times, Trump is far behind in Pennsylvania (16 percentage points), Wisconsin (10 points) and Michigan (11 points). According to the Morning Consult, Trump’s current approval rating in Pennsylvania has plummeted 19 points since Inauguration Day.

Interesting...

LS, next year you can buy the 100 year bonds Munchkin is preparing, and kick the can of debt to your great, great, great grand children. Admirable can kicking by an administration that is currently spending twice as much as they are collecting.

Fuck you.

Snail Snail ... say your parents ran up a debt they could never repay BUT they put all their liauid assets in a trust protecting them. Now they offer a generation payment plan that obligates you and your brood. Would you honor the debt??

Remember all of the bitching and moaning that happened during the Obama years about the Debt?

And now that Trump's adding 2 TRILLION, none of those FISCAL CONSERVATIVES have said shit?

Remember Trump's campaign promise that people fell hook/line/sinker for - he'll eliminate the debt within 8 years?

LOL

Long live fiscal conservatism!

I just want to know why everyone stopped donating to the Clinton foundation when Hillary lost.

What does her presidency have to do with helping haiti with donations? Why would they stop?

I've never gotten a satisfactory explanation.

Probably never will. Nobody wants to commit suicide with two shots to the back of the head.

Pocahontas now leads the field of losers. Her latest commie stunt is to levy a tax on all your personal property and assets like your wife's diamond ring, your watch, your refrigerator and stove.....I cant see any moderate voting for any if these dings dongs except as a "hate trump" vote. But, there's alot of brain damaged liberals out there....
Hillary was much more popular than any of these jackwagons...
