My ducks biggest adversary is the turtles in the lake. There is a young red-tailed hawk thats been hanging around a lot since he noticed how big the menu is around here. I havent seen him get anything yet but I can always tell when the hawk is nearby because the ducks are no where to be found.
...my bantam game cocks would fight the hawks...

My neighbor has about a dozen Peacocks wandering around on his hobby farm.

He had a pretty good hatch last year. If he has one this year, do you want a couple of Peacock chicks?

I could talk to him.

(My cats won't fuck with the Peacocks when they come exploring..)

I'd like to have some except they are considered nuisance animals here. There used to be bunch around, but the got "removed" because the would screech all day, tear porch screens up, peck the shit out of cars and chase kids. At least the kids got some exercise out of the deal.

We have some peacocks that live about 1/4 mile away. When the wind is blowing just right you can hear them, sounds like a pissed off cat.

All they have are Pekins. I had a couple of them for a few years. I may pick a couple up just to keep Mr. Mallard company.
I'm picking up a couple decoys tonight to float in the pond. There are lots of wild ducks around my house, I just need a few to move in.

You should call any local avian rescue places, and let them know you're available if they are looking to relocate any broke-dick ducks.

I tossed a couple decoys out in the pond, the resident duck did not like them, he backed away. He was on the land, I put the fakes in the water.
