I don’t like the looks of the Texans. I prefer xp-Airguns or big bore air rifles .

...considering he is trying to sell the guns he is "reviewing" and hasn't seemed to find an air gun he didn't like, I find his reviews informative and interesting, something less than true of most reviews...

...considering his vested interest he doesn't seem to pull this punches...

All your links go to air pyramid. I’m not sure who you like for a reviewer. I’ve been watching Mr. Hollowpoint reviews. I wouldn’t mind the .58 caliber on https://www.xp-airguns.com/

They have some good videos on that. Helium and nitrogen are lighter gas then air . Supposedly really quickens the shot. I think they were piping thehelium into the compressor inlet to pump it up to 4500psi.

...my thinking was nitrogen might be less affected by temperature changes...

...I had a tank filled @ 3200 psi and by the time I got it to tinhead's it had cooled down to 2700 psi...

...or it leaks...

Seems a lot of videos on the cheap Chinese compressors for $200. I heard hunters will leave their tank outside the night before going and top it off outside. I also seen a compressor that runs off of the car battery. The ones I like only get less than 3 shots per gun fill, some even single shot. Google Umarex Hammer which seems to be back ordered a lot.

...I nearly went with the Umarex Gauntlet...a $300 gun with a regulator...still second guessing that one at this point...

...I went with the Hatsan Flash behind it's more compact size and excellent performance despite being unregulated...

Did you go with the 25 or 22 cal.? What did you get for a scope? I wish they would give the option of sights on the gun.

...after reading some shit on some air gun forums, I passed on the expensive sexy little Diana bitch and went with the classic Benjamin Marauder, the gun all the others compare themselves to...

...it's really not that much more $$$ than the Flash in the grand scheme of things...

...I like a walnut stock but the plastic one cut a pound of weight off...

...I have the exact same p.o.s. CP scope as this one has in the picture...

...do you have one of these things...???...I was thinking to save up for a better one...are these worth it...???...

...it sounds like they are loud and will shut off at least once to fill an 80 sized standard scuba tank and take an hour to do it...

...the local dive shop charges $5 to fill a tank, and I figgered to use the pump to top off a charge after using the tank for the bulk of it when the tank is low...

...I also have a really small 3000psi tank to carry afield that would probably be feasible to charge with a hand pump...

...the Marauder apparetny likes to get filled to aboot 2600psi best...I figger I could top of the charge on it twice with the little tank...

THAT tiny little pump is supposed to do 4500psi? I could have used something like that for filling up paintball tanks, back when I was still playing. I think 4500psi compressors started at like $1500 back then (mid 2000s).

$5 ain’t too shabby. It would take a long time to break even.

...the Marauder was a lemon...it puffed oily air in my face at each shot...didn't like it anyway...it was flimsy and handled like a bass guitar...I sent it back...

...this 3.5 lb 23.5" OAL .25 cal AirForce TalonP shoots just as hard, but it is a single shot, with no suppressor...I should be ok with that...it is actually legal to hunt deer with in CT...

...it's fugly...I was nearly seduced by the features and beauty of the Diana Skyhawk but this thing out performs it @ half the weight and @ 6" shorter...

...the design featurs a straight air path that can't hurt...it can hit 900 plus fps average speed with normal pellets for 10 shots on high power...

...it can put out like 30 shots at low power @ 800 plus fps...after what I saw on a review of a similar model I might have mind set on "2"...

...it is also very modular (tactical?) and can be built into other versions of the Talon line that could increase velocities to 1100 fps n' shit...

...what nailed it for me was the size/power coefficient...I was willing to give up features and aesthetics to obtain the proper tool for my needs at this time...

Why would you hunt deer with a .25 cal ? You seem to be set on that caliber, any reason?

...I just noted that under CT law it is now legal to hunt big game with high velocity air rifles above .24 cal, so...
