Because nobody in the USA might remember who he is:

Robert Gabriel Mugabe (/mʊˈɡɑːbi/; Shona: [muɡaɓe]; born 21 February 1924 – 6 September 2019) was a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who served as Prime Minister of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 1987 and then as President from 1987 to 2017. He chaired the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) group from 1975 to 1980 and led its successor political party, the ZANU – Patriotic Front (ZANU–PF), from 1980 to 2017. Ideologically an African nationalist, during the 1970s and 1980s he identified as a Marxist–Leninist, although after the 1990s self-identified only as a socialist. His policies have been described as Mugabeism.
He was born poor, got educated, was a teacher for a while, did some time, and then lived the second half of his life like a king. Then, when the government finally throws him out at 93 years old, they give him and his family immunity from prosecution, a free house, $10 million severance and let him keep all the shit he already stole. He dies a couple years later, at 95. I'd say, from his perspective, he kicked the game of life squarely in the ass.
They were Zimbabwean farmers and citizens. A little compassion for the little people would be nice. Not everything is political.
At least now your tax dollars can go to their government, that should be appealing to your mindset I suppose. The poor black Zimbabweans are going hungry as they no longer have farming or any industry for that matter. Tobacco sales are up at least.
