I see stuff like this everyday- they pack trucks with migrant workers (here they're usually from Laos or Burma, or they're members of hill tribes that don't have Thai nationality and are basically foreigners in the country they're from)- the drivers generally drive way too fast, with no respect for the people in the back. Most accidents don't make the news, but every month or two there'll be a big one with 12+ deaths and bodies strewn all over the road.
