Making fire, noise, and not many friends with this thing at the range today. Anyone know how to capture the nice fireball and fire tube shots in an image?

Best chance to is go to camera mode and hold down the shutter button to do burst shot.

Edit: they changed the functionality of holding the shutter down to take video on my phone, YMMV

I finger fucked a few Sigs yesterday.

A 10mm and a new XMacro.

The 10mm trigger was perfect.

The Macro, not so much.

I came so close to taking the 10mm home but, have too many other things I need to spend funds on right now.

I had to look it up to see Sig made a P320 in 10mm. I thought about buying a Legion or X Five in 9mm, but I have resisted so far. I haven't shot a P320 for good reason.....I don't need my Sig "family" to have a bunch of new cousins showing up.

Why you got five of them Justin?
I’m home this year so I wanna get the range time in and assess the 300 AAC and the 350 legend side by side ..

Deer hunting ..

I’m already leaning towards setting the 350 up for timber sets and close quarter shots and having the 300 as my field edge 300 yard rig ..

My wife and kids are hunters too , hated watching a 5 foot nothing 120 girl get the shit beat out of them by 3 inch 20 gauge slugs back when that was the only option ..

These single shot rifles are now legal in a few flatland states and CVA owns a niche market here , almost 100% save an unobtanium Henry rolling block that I’ve only seen pictures of …

The writing on the wall says CVA isn’t going to produce enough of these by a long shot ..

I’d bet they will double in value 👍🏼

This is what I really liked that had only just showed up in the store as I hung about:

I can never keep numbers/models straight unless I have it written down in front of me.

It did fit my hand nicely and as mentioned, the trigger was perfect.

Need glasses---Small pistol mags 483 per 5k....... Only lightweight gay guys buy by the thousand! :dirtypete:
I'm not sure what you mean.

When I was at Bruno's a couple of weeks ago, they were $125 per thousand, wether you bought one thousand or ten thousand.

I bought ten thousand for just over a grand, delivered, from Target Sports USA.

You got hosed. They are 96.60 per thousand if you figure it by the thousand but FGM's are more and there are others cheaper than this. Of all people would have thought you would be a little more prudent with you spending your money like a drunk-----never mind.:biggar: Ok what the Hell--a Sailor! Bet you were expecting something else! Went and looked just now and all of the good ones I use (FGM's) are all sold out and not listed. Do use Win WLP's pistol in one of my revolvers well actually 3. If I buy any primers in the next few years they are at the top of the list.

He paid $465 for 5k, how is Bruno a better deal by buying 5k?
Depends on the brand and type of primer. Some people do not care what brand of primer they use additionally, not everyone has the brands and types of primers in stock Lester caters to the BR crowd. Any primer of the same size is not interchangeable for some of us. Ok granted pistols except the big boys and target ones I am not so finicky because of the types of pistols the ammunition is being fired i.e. any 9mm.

Stopped off at the range yesterday to blow off a little steam and practice drawing from.the holster. This is me at 10 yards, drawing from a 4 o'clock position with a rapid fire mag dump. The good news is that I got all 8 rounds on the target. The bad news is they're spread out like I was shooting 00 buckshot.

My first shot was 12 o'clock high.

What did you pay per one thousand primers at Bruno's? As I stated earlier, I was just in there recently, and they were fucking expensive. YSR pointed out that they were $125/1000, which is accurate. That's what I saw as well.

The bad guy is still either dead, or very unhappy. Don't sweat it. Just practice some more. You hit the target. It's not a horrible group for a rapid fire mag dump.

I posted the link above to Bruno's. I get an email from them every few days. Went and looked again (also posted above looked yesterday) and they have taken some off of the web site as they are sold out. I also do not ever well, at least in the last 30 years buy less than 10k of a specific lot of primers for rifles, pistols not so much regarding same lot. Do powder and bullets the same way. For me just look at the 5k price divide by 5 but I know some buy them 100 at a time. As above Bruno's was not always the cheapest on primers, bullets, powder used them because Amy would always verify that the lot numbers were the same.

Reloading Components: Bruno Shooters Supply

For pistol primers, pistol bullets anything for handguns and loaded ammo use the Ammo Seek bot.

That’s an awful lot of words. All I asked was what did you pay. I didn’t want links, formulas or other extraneous information.

Customer comes to the shop yesterday and asks if I can build a holster with both plate carrier molle hooks, as well as make it Safariland and G-Code compatible for his battle belt and drop-leg rigs.

"Possibly. It's going to be expensive. For what gun?" And then it got weird..

:eyepopping1a: A mutated Beretta. An airsoft toy. I guess it's what was used in one of the Terminator movies.

I doubt it would survive the build process considering the temps and pressure involved. Still thinking if I want to mess with it at all. Told him I'd call him back Monday.

Robocop!

The prop guys imported (with great difficulty) and then modified the shit out of a Beretta 93r in order to make it look big and badass enough in Peter Wellers' hands while in the suit.

Let me repost from above.

I have Plenty of Components at this time except for the 375 EnABELR and those are the Berger 379gr pills. :D As I stated above when I do a build, I buy enough components for the life of the tube. In short, I do not buy components very often at all. Unfortunately, the Berger pills for the 375 are just brutal and have not bought a barrels worth because may try the new Hornady 390 ATip Max that are packaged sequentially right out of the die not tumbeled. Have a call into a guy I used to shoot against in 1k br competition that is now the Director of Engineering to discuss possible loading data.

Are we clear now?:wink2:

My point was you could have just said "I paid N dollars for the primers", or "They are N dollars for X many primers". Nothing more.

I provided the link that showed all of the prices. Is it that hard to figure it out? If it is, then you do not need to be reloading like most here do--some at least one that I know of, handloads there is a difference! I said when I need to buy more. If it was not clear, then bad on me.

Will not be responding to our friend from Arizona on anything shooting related in the future because he just loads just to go bang, and I do not. My friend who loves lox on his bagels can help him. :wink2:
