Just an update since the last one where balance was $1662.13 (it was actually $1,663.13).
Since then:
12/10: Sent Eddie $92 for a couple months of hosting bills.
12/12: Paid one $12 hosting bill as Eddie was having trouble getting access to pay it at that moment.
1/13: WP donation of $130.00 deposited.
1/26: BusaVeloce paying lost wager with GSXRturbo deposit $250.00
1/26: Sent Eddie $40 for hosting bills
1/26: transferred from PayPal to LAB's account $275.93 which included Qwik $50 payment of lost wager with GSXRturbo, Bowtie bought knife from WP and proceeds were $125.93 after PP fees, and gsxrian $100 donation. Add in a couple of pennies interest and here we are.

Current balance: $2,215.08
Actually, I fucked that math up and didn't deduct the $40 sent to Eddie for hosting.
Actual current balance is $2,175.08
1/29: Deposited GSXRTURBO donation paid by r1racer due to lost wager with him $500 and $50 (two separate checks)

54708

Current balance once checks clear: $2,725.08

Steve,

Seeing as I epic failed that task years ago, would you mind doing putting it together? Steve Casey needs one as well. I'll transfer whatever funds are needed when the time comes.
I think Caseys should not be masonry... maybe Snail Snail has some solid wood slabs one could fabricate a stone with a unique design.

Transparency update for the membership.

Previous reported balance was $2,725.08
Interest was a solid two cents! +$.02
Paid Eddie on 2/22/21 for monthly hosting bills -$40.00
More interest in March! +$.02 incredible returns!
Against my objections CZloco Eddie has chosen to cover the next couple of months or so of hosting bills as a donation to the forum.
Against more of my objections Banditman Vince has insisted on returning the $500 that was given to him awhile back when he was going through some serious shit.
He's still going through some serious shit and will be for the foreseeable future, so keep this top notch man in your hearts.
Current balance is now $3,185.12

LE05Busa, if you care to get moving on the stones, although I like Schiavo's idea, I'm not sure it's a possibility at Steps to the Corkscrew, but we can certainly ask. Maybe a wooden bench up there honoring the man, but once again, hard to say what can and cannot get done.
Either way, we need one for Smitty, SteveCasey, Jason motodude, and possibly a few others.

The balance would be less but Eddie insisted on paying server bills out of his own pocket for a few months due to funds he received from Truth during his epic journey back to Texas from the Thunderhill trackday weekend.

So thank you Eddie, and thank you Truth for helping Eddie out of a jam.

And thank you Stites for all of your hard work procuring, producing, and shipping all of the duc glassware.

And thank you to everyone else who donated to keep this place afloat.

Haven't had an accounting update for a bit so here's what's happened since the last shit happened.
Last balance report was end of August 2021 at $3728.68.
9/28/21 paid LE05Busa for domain fees or something like that -140.00
11/08/21 paid LEO5Busa for other annual website fees -220.94
12/07/21 received a donation for hookers and blow via paypal +50.00
12/07/21 paid Eddie for two months of regular site bills -126.00
2/2/22 paid Eddie for three months of regular site bills -200.00
2/23/22 received a donation from Wretch via paypal +80.00
3/7/22 received two $20 donations from V/C via paypal after fees + 37.86
(these donations were for stickers donated to the site by Banditman and
sent directly to V/C) Thanks Vince!
3/23/22 received a donation from Anal Disco via Venmo + 30.00
(this donation was for Moezy Inn swag donated by wormser77
and sent to Wretch). Thanks Jason!
4/14/22 paid Eddie for a month of regular site bills -66.66
4/14/22 received donation from Qwik via paypal +56.51
4/14/22 received donation from Warren via paypal +100.00
Miscellaneous interest earned over five months + 0.40

Current LABusas account balance as of April 14 2022 is $3,329.85

LAB's paypal (not biggar) received a donation from LMR of + 160.00
(this donation was for records auctioned by Rollie Free for the benefit of the site and LMR
paid direct to the LAB's paypal for them) Thanks Rollie!

It's the same paypal that I send payments from here (via biggar paypal) to Eddie to for site bills
so I told him to just use it for that for a couple of months and tell me when he needs
another payment but it did not come into and out of my B of A LABusas savings account.

This should get everyone up to date.

Sounds like LABusas is flush with cash.
S.C.
Thanks to the awesome generosity of the membership, we're in decent shape.
I just try to err on the side of complete transparency as the de facto treasurer here.
Donations are always welcome however healthy the account is as occasionally bad shit happens and maybe someone will really need some help.
If that was to happen, it would be with the approval of the pentaverate at least, along with input from the membership.
It won't get pissed away all willy-nilly :)

I think we need some really bitchin' high end t-shirts made up. Thin material with the printing that you don't even feel. Maybe get Gatorz to put duc on the temples of some sunglasses. My son's old Navy unit got some done a few years back. They're really great sunglasses. I'm not a big wraparound sunglasses guy and it's still not my favorite look, but they're super easy to size by bending the frames a bit. They come off quick and stay up on the bill of your hat if you walk in someplace.

Please take note of our new PayPal address as I'm no longer using Cox internet service so the old address is no longer active.

For all of the terminally cheap bastids who derive endless entertainment from here yet never donate a nickel, stop reading here because you'll never change.

For those that actually appreciate this place, you're welcome to throw a few bucks to biggarlabusas@gmail.com which is our "new" PayPal address.

Should you wish to Venmo, Zelle, or send cash money in a brown paper bag, PM me for deets and it will also safely find it's way to the LAB's account.

We're due for some new swag, although I do have maybe one trailer hitch receiver cover, and a couple of shot glasses still available.

We also have a few stickers and a bunch of duc jacket pins.

We really need to do a fresh run of t-shirts and maybe something else interesting. I never heard back from Gatorz about doing a run of sunglasses but they are a quality piece of kit. Last year I had new lenses put in the ones my son gave me from his old Navy unit. Frames are still rock solid.

Way to rub it in, ya bastard :biting:
I should update more often, but not a whole lot happens. CZLoco handles the server bills and does the bulk of the heavy lifting here, and LE05Busa gets re-imbursed for a couple of annual domain fees that he pays out of pocket. Aside from some rando donations and shipping fees, that's about it.
Just looking to be fully transparent.
If I ever do decide to piss LAB's money away on hookers and blow (unlikely, but never say never), y'all will know about that too.

is overrated
I need to get some new shirts or maybe some re-prints of olden ones?

Seems I get lost in 2XL sized shirts these days but still like them a bit oversized so XL will likely be good.

I'll make note of the new PP address and see about changing it in my account.

Might be nice to has some bike caricature type shirts made up if we can afford ADonf and he has the time?

Spitballin' here!

BTW: Cotton!

100% Cotton shirts please.

The poly blends rub my nipples raw and otherwise make me itch, even if/when I wash them in the correct for me laundry detergent.

I'm allergic to the planet, remember!

Shirts!! I could always use a few more even though I can "barely" still get in my OG one. The ones we got in 09 were awesome.

Probably not enough time to get new ones made before MotoGP.... but maybe in time for LaB initial all out "Show up or shut up" race Rhino keeps talking about...or Riding NV with Stites

Can I toss this back out there for sale? All proceeds go to the board. I'll pay shipping in CONUS. Someone buy this fucking thing. It's basically new. I put it on a gun, used it once, and decided it wasn't for me.
