Wednesday, last week, I took the Busa out.

I rode to an event to try and win a bottle of Booze (Pappy). I didn't win, but I came home with a bottle of 1792 Single Barrel.

I wheelied the fuck out of the Busa. It's so easy on this Gen2 compared to my 99. 18 years on Busas. I don't know if I could ever enjoy another motorcycle as much.

I hit 110 on surface streets.

Both my 2001 and this 2011 have much better bottom end grunt, compared to the 99. The 99 was more like a pipey dirt bike.

The power curves of the 99 and 01 should have been identical. What was different on them?

You could be right. Its been a long time. I used to know all about Busas, but memory is fading.
