To you my friend, getting fucked up and wishing you were here to fire things up. You know, Kinda like drinking a bit to much and maybe puffin' on a fattie, then you start thinking about that horsepower sitting in the garage.....you know the feeling, a tingle in the balls and the next thing you know , your pinning the throttle. I love you man...

I was thinking about Ian the other day when getting stuff out of my shed. My run down Bultaco is still sitting there.
Ian knew a lot about Bultacos and was gonna give me advice/help on bringing it back to life.
Hell talking about my old Yamaha and Bultaco is what got Ian to give me his card which had an invite to this site.

Eddie,

Any chance of rescuing any of the missing photos on this thread?
Did what I could.
And converted any remaining 3rd party picture hosting links to local storage hosted so we don't lose them in the future.
Like if Photobucket phucks everyone again.

Not sure how to get rid of the red X's though.

i know this is not a prayer forum... but may the energy that was/is ducmanic please wash this clubhouse in a peaceful light and hold it's masses together with whatever heavenly epoxy can hold such a "miracle" in place until this ride is over... and then line em' up in the afterlife, Amen.

Carlsbad ( 2001 ? )

Bike almost left him behind on the launch, :red:
especially since it has done a 1.39 sec 60 foot time on other occasions.
Tank slapper on the big end at 154 mph, :frEEk:but he remembered what I told him
about gas it, and not brakes till stable. šŸ‘
Bike has run 9.13 sec with stock motor, bar, slick, pipe, and air shifter.

My first time 1/4 mile was in Carlsbad when I came out to meet you way back in the day, CD.
And crazy enough, it resulted in my best 1/4 mile time on my first pass ever.
And I have never ever beaten that time. Though my Hayabusa was only run on a 1/8 track.
But I did spend a lot of nights at LACR trying to beat that Carlsbad time on that old '93 CBR900RR.

Maybe it was from the pointers you gave me that night that I must have forgotten on my ride home.
