They are up to 47 cases now.
They use to have 102 patients and lost 7 so far.
So out of 95 people - 47 tested positive... and it keeps climbing every day.
Their idea of isolation is not working. They let sick nurses come in, but won't let healthy family visit.
1) Hoping the best for you and family

2) That situation is fucked up. I mean like too fucked up. If anything, it lays bare how contagious this thing is. By comparison I have to think they never saw 47 out 95 residents coming down with the common flu??? There's something wrong there for the virus to be evading their isolation measures to that extent. There must be a super spreader working there, or their HVAC is fucked up and it's getting around that way...

I read a report that insisted this was a natural virus but it was also 'custom made' for humans, as far as transmissibility.

There really isn't going to be a way to banish it forever.

Strange though how the cases are spiking like a rocket but deaths are low compared to the first strain that came out.

And still the threat of death across all age groups is .625 ..

Fuck your masks, I will not and have not worn one.

If anything, this shows just how unhealthy the majority of American is, who's it killing? The obese, the very old, those unfortunate ones with preexisting issues ... and some unlucky people, just like every year.

And for this we ruin the economy, and countless peoples lives? :fu:

I'm getting my first set of invites to client/customer company December holiday parties...

This is interesting. Never contemplated what this would look like

So far the routine has been registering for an online virtual gathering while getting booze delivered to your door

Sign me up. Once the booze arrives, I'll sign out of the gathering. Promise.

The Thai government was considering lowering the 14-day quarantine require for international arrivals to ten days this month, but, with the resurgence in many parts of the world, it won't change until at least January 15th- gonna be a quiet New Year's season (not that is was going to be bustling anyway, but this won't help).

They're actually an amazingly well-organized and generally peaceful lot (not always, but they're pretty restrained)- they even make a point of cleaning up after themselves when they finish protesting at a particular location. It's nothing like what's gone on in the US.

why would they send real booze for a virtual party?
I guess the intent will be for everyone to 'gather' round some virtual event room and show the bottles we received, pour a drink and toast

Like I said, these are uncharted waters and have no idea what it will look like

Account managers have to get creative with customer relationship management this festive season because the old methods like dinner, booze-up followed by complimentary hotel room with hookers and coke aren't available to them

If you're gonna spank it during the conference call, don't pan the camera down before most of those bottles have been consumed- just a little 'Toobin tip' (read that anyway you want).

I'm not on any New Yorker virtual holiday party lists

But good call out. These events could very well turn out to be a montage of 'release the hounds' videos

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. Really, though, it's the 14-day quarantine more than anything else- you get to spend the first two weeks of your vacation isolated in a hotel room- thanks, but no thanks.

NY is like this right now... and has been since the beginning of Oct. With 3rd Reich type tactics at all points of entry. NJ no so much. We're about to see tonight what 95 is going to be like.

Mom's in the hospital in Vegas. Her O2 levels were dangerously low yesterday. She's feeling better today. They've got her pumped full of Remdesivir (Thanks President Trump!) and she's hopefully going to continue to get a little better every day.

WTF!!???

Since you posted this here and mentioned the Rem; I'm assuming she's positive???

Cramer’s Critical Words:

No one knows what’s going to happen. You think CVS knows what’s going to happen? You go to your CVS in two weeks and they’re going to say ‘listen, when we get the plan, we are ready to roll.’ I have done the homework on this, sir. You are not ready, and it’s not just that you don’t have enough vaccines, it’s just because no one has a plan down there.

Succinctly, the immediate takeaway is that nothing will be accomplished without clear instructions, and given the Trump Administration’s checkered history with any Covid-19 operations, that might be asking too much. That leaves us with the needed planning to be done by the forthcoming Biden administration, which stresses the need for immediate cooperation between the current task force and the incoming administration’s COVID task force (Which is currently not even legal!).

Imagine the temerity of a private company keeping freedumb loving Typhoid Mary's away from their healthy customers. Must be socialism. :retard:
