Scientific American has endorsed Sleepy Joe

First POTUS endorsement in its 175 year history

From normalizing gender dysphoria to presidential endorsements, it is sad to see more and more of the science elite fall hostage to activist agendas
Their new editor in chief recently came on board from........wait for it......

The Washington Compost.

Fuck that cunt.

Helmuth attended Eckerd College, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology in 1991. She then attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she received her PhD in cognitive neuroscience in 1997. She performed her doctoral work in the laboratory of Richard Ivry. Her research centered on the underlying neuroscience of Parkinson's disease and resulted in a thesis entitled Sequence Learning in Patients with Parkinson's Disease. Her thesis research included understanding the role of the cerebellum in verbal function, learning, and attention, as well as studying how the brain coordinates and executes cyclic movements.

In 1998, she earned a certificate in science communication from University of California, Santa Cruz. She began her science writing career as an intern at Science News.

The paper was written by Dr. Yan and 3 of her colleagues. Id like to read a paper written by scientists that refutes and proves their claims are false. Until then. I'll keep an open mind and judge for myself.

Which is what all these liberal "news organizations" and "social media" platforms refuse to do.

I guess it's easier not to think nowadays...
Yeah, how about something "scientific" that addresses Dr. Yan and her colleagues findings and refutes them specifically. Not something from before Mr. Dung.

China caused it..... it doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. The fact remains that it came from their country and they are responsible for the results.

Nobody seems to want to ask the REAL questions:

Why isn't the rest of the world holding China accountable?
Why haven't we already laid the groundwork for financial compensation?

Are we scared of China or are the real reasons we aren't holding CHINA accountable financially are due to things world governments don't want to talk about?

In the meantime, we all run around like idiots pointing the finger at each other and mask blame for the spread like good little sheep..... :dash2:

Wow. Not only is that huge garbage that completely discredits "Scientific American" pretty much forever, it's also a month old.
Life comes at you fast.
Here's a more recent article/garbage:

Scientific American Endorses Joe Biden

Excerpt:

Scientific American has never endorsed a presidential candidate in its 175-year history. This year we are compelled to do so. We do not do this lightly.

The evidence and the science show that Donald Trump has badly damaged the U.S. and its people—because he rejects evidence and science. The most devastating example is his dishonest and inept response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which cost more than 190,000 Americans their lives by the middle of September. He has also attacked environmental protections, medical care, and the researchers and public science agencies that help this country prepare for its greatest challenges. That is why we urge you to vote for Joe Biden, who is offering fact-based plans to protect our health, our economy and the environment. These and other proposals he has put forth can set the country back on course for a safer, more prosperous and more equitable future.

The pandemic would strain any nation and system, but Trump's rejection of evidence and public health measures have been catastrophic in the U.S. He was warned many times in January and February about the onrushing disease, yet he did not develop a national strategy to provide protective equipment, coronavirus testing or clear health guidelines. Testing people for the virus, and tracing those they may have infected, is how countries in Europe and Asia have gained control over their outbreaks, saved lives, and successfully reopened businesses and schools. But in the U.S., Trump claimed, falsely, that “anybody that wants a test can get a test.” That was untrue in March and remained untrue through the summer. Trump opposed $25 billion for increased testing and tracing that was in a pandemic relief bill as late as July. These lapses accelerated the spread of disease through the country—particularly in highly vulnerable communities that include people of color, where deaths climbed disproportionately to those in the rest of the population.

Funny how "Scientific" American endorses a Democrat. Take a look at the states with the highest death rates.....90% Democrat run.

The cunt running that outfit from The Compost and Berkeley is clearly above board and non biased.🤔

Yes, because promoting job outsourcing and raising taxes on the folks who still have jobs is how the middle class prospers.

And their comment on tracing? If their idea of tracing includes not tracing protestors for liberal reasons then that completely ruins their 'pro science' argument.

That whole article reads like an emotional progressive wrote it.

I’ll take scientific American over dan bongino any day of the week.

They are reacting to a president who is resistant to the idea of science and whose preferred experts believe in demon sperm.

If science doesn’t gel with his opinions and beliefs, he will reject it.

To be fair, science still hasn't come to an agreement over covid. In the beginning they said it wasn't airborne, remember that? Than it was well it doesn't survive on surfaces. Then it was oh shit, we found it on ceiling fans much longer than we thought.

Yet somehow dingleberry trump is supposed to pick, today, which of those theories will turn out to be right 2 years from now?

He's a business man, not a scientist. If the scientists can't agree how do you pick which one to listen to?

Fauci leans liberal so of course the left wants to ignore all other scientific statements except his.

Wow, it's almost like when you learn stuff about a problem, it changes your approach.

Groundbreaking stuff here.

Meanwhile, the thing scientists DO agree on is blatantly ignored by Trump.

It's not a problem with "science" in and of itself, it's a problem with leftist activists within the scientific community. It's about them coming out with "scientific fact" and statements about what must be done NOW on the front page, only to come out with a completely opposite statement two weeks later that's printed on the back page. THAT is the problem. It's the human factor. You rail about conservatives "ignoring science", but are silent about liberals kneeling before their "scientific facts". What was their favorite line a couple of years ago... "It's SETTLED science!"

I read somewhere (maybe here) that teachers were upset that parents could sit in on zoom classes because they knew the parents would be astounded at the leftist propaganda.

Then I read somewhere (maybe here) that they were sending out 'pledges' to parents to sign t get them to not watch the zoom classes.

Insanity.
