Was there a thread? I accidentally clicked on something on the forum a minute ago, and it brought up recent profile changes, and his was changed to this on Aug 26, 2020:

"Unfortunately his time with us has ended... this is his brother Scott.

He did enjoy stirring the pot on this board! Our family overcome with grief!
RIP BROTHER! "

Never met him but he seemed like someone I would have considered a friend. Its hard sometimes to qualify stuff like this. RIP BigHock

No way- we hung out in Bangkok several years ago and hit the bars- he was a damned good guy, and who he was on the board (a funny, interesting guy who'd been to a lot of places and done a lot of stuff) was who he was in person.

RIP, my friend- your absence will make this place lesser.

Sucks... That dude and I shared a lot of laughs... And a few beliefs...

Seems like time outs these days can and will be longer than any of us expect.

May you find peace in Valhalla.

This is pretty sad. We exchanged numbers but our schedules never aligned to meet up for a beer (or he was ducking me on that :D) when I was living in MD and passed near Philly. I'm going to miss his posts - he was pretty funny and one of the lighthearted members of this cast. He'd picked up on lyrics mentioned here and there, he knew his rap music.

95 plus 4 pennies, add that shit up
. Gonna go listen to the album.

RIP

Do you recall how old he was??

His dad died last year @77....so <57??

These things always get me thinking....if not age related; did he get sick; accident???

Just curious...

RIP BH.
If I remember correctly, he would have been ~52 (I believe he was a year or two younger than me)- definitely way too young, whatever the reason.

is overrated
He also started a thread in June 2019 sharing with us that his father had died.
That sucks.

I hope he went peacefully.

Thread, for reference:

He recognized what this place is, even though it's like a pen pal relationship in some cases, we are a family here.

I hope his family is coping well with the loss.

It is the worst thing we suffer here in this existence...
