Thanks everyone rot the well wishes and thoughts.

Yes I went to the ER a couple weeks ago but it was not diabetes related.

I went in becaue it was to a point where I couldnt walk with out a lot pain, I almost had to crawl to the admin desk.

The did the usual check your vitals and brought me in the back. they did a couple scans of my hips/groin area and drew blood. I sat waiting for an hour or so while all the test results came back. When they came back to the room the DR was wearing a space suit!

They went to explain that I have a severe blood infection and would require more testing and they wanted to hit the sepsis hard right away. That involved a massive dose of IV fluids. The first round was going ok until I started having a hard time to catch my breath. I buzzed the nurse and by the time they came back I was basically drowning. They went into freakout mode and ended up pumping me with lasix and other diuretics. after a couple hours I was able to finally catch my breath and calmed down, then they did it again! at least this time they stayed in the room to catch the drowning sooner. When I called them out on it the dr said it needed to be done to help flush the sepsis.

From there they admitted me.

Over the next few days I went through a couple 4hr sessions in the MRI, 3 Bone scans, CT scans, Xrays and a lot of blood draws they determined I needed to go under the knife. The went in around my hips and scrubbed and sucked any infection from the bones they could reach just to get a head start on the infection clean up.

It turns out I have a hard to treat MRSA blood infection. I have CDC people talking to me around the clock.

During all this they tried to get a handle on my diabetes numbers since I was a captive patient.

One of the side effects of the flooding was massive heart failer. so now I have that to deal with now too.

Im on full time oxygen and a very limited diet. Have a battery of tests still and hospital appointments. I have to give myself IV antibiotics every day for 8 weeks hoping to get the Blood Infection under control. Chances are pretty good my Job is gone but that will have to be seen soon.

I came home a couple days ago

Vince, it seems as though keeping track of things in your blood is done often. Must be a PITA to do from home?

Hope you're able to keep all of the things under control and get as close to 100% as possible, sooner than later.
I googled that MRSA.
Sounds like you're very, very "lucky" to be alive right now.
One out of three mortality rate. :(

After breaking my most of my ribs and busting me head open the hospital gave me a case of MRSA.

came home and about six days a pimple started growing on my left side of my chest. In a few days it went to the size of a boil.. I tried to pop it but nothing. Few days later it started to hurt. So off to the docs. Dermo doc sends me to an infectious disease doc.. he confirms I have MRSA. He cuts me open and CUTS the infection out. Then packed this ENORMOUS cotton rope in the wound and said to cone back every three days and I had to be quarantined from other people and had to be careful when bathing..

I go back every three days where they would pull the cotton who is now full of puss and shit all out.. he clean out the 44 magnum entry hole in my chest out he dug about 3 inches in maybe more freaking hole was deep. I take the pain as he pushed a clean cotton rope into the wound.. that went on for four months.

He had me come back after I healed all up and test if I was now a carrier of MRSA. Most the get it become carriers. I some how tested that I'm not a carrier.

I have a big fucking scar on my chest from that ordeal.. and ordeal I wish on no one

I asked the doc I how did I contract it .. he said one of two places. In the Ambulance or the hospital emergency room.. he said two of the most unclean places a person can be in the hospital.. he said every hospital has MRSA and almost all staff has it.

Something to think about when your getting put into a bus and your headed to the hospital.

Prisons are a real source of MRSA. That's why prison guards get what the rest of us think is way excessive medical attention any time even a droplet of spit contacts them.

I feel like Vince should have been taking pix of his Nurses and posting them here.
Keeping us up to date on daily bath washes and Nursing duties.
Not doodies, but duties. You know. Don't be weird.
And let us know how the pain meds were.

j/k prayers sent. Cuz that's my thing.

Vince, thanks for finally connecting with us as there were / are a lot of people worried about you. You're going to have to be a good patient as difficult as that may be. You've been through the fight of your life and it's not over yet. Please take care of yourself. You've spent your life taking care of other people and animals. It's your turn now brother.
Please accept whatever help we can come up with here.
There's about $500 in the Smitty / Casey / stone fund that was recently returned to LAB's out of the blue. I don't think anyone would object to that being a starting point to rounding up a few bucks for expenses I'm sure you've had and will have. It's a drop in the bucket, but every drop helps.

Yes, even after health insurance there will be tons of costs.
It might be also effective if we can assist with info on how to negotiate those into settlements at a lower, more manageable cost, so they don't ding his credit. Which he'll need in the future.

I wish I'd have asked for help after my last couple surgeries.
I think the hand surgeries have finally fallen off my report.
But the leg surgeries are still fresh and being a PITA, wanting their monies and damaging my credit however they can.

There's a big difference between having some medical work done to fix things broken from playing too hard, and having to get it done because of falling apart and one will die in days without the docs, meds, and procedures. 2012 burst appendix with discovery of a-fib was something I was quieter about than falling off my bike and breaking my pelvis in 2005.

Like the prophet Paul (Simon) said in You Can Call Me Al
You know, I don't find this stuff amusing any more.

Don't be such a fucking noble martyr about things, you old prick!

You afraid we might show we care about your well being or something?

Just don't show us the eggplant balls shots again, thanks.

Sending to Vince tomorrow morning. Hope you all don't mind me diverting the long lost, recently found stone funds to a longtime member in need. Vince spends a lot of time and a lot of his own money, helping people. Some we know, some we don't know, but it's in his DNA. I can't think of a better use for this money at the moment. We'll need to send a few bucks to Eddie on occasion as he's the one paying our hosting and other expenses every month right now. It's not much, but Eddie shouldn't be the one bearing the cost. That's for another thread though. Vince, we care about you my friend. Get well buddy.

Earth or possibly another planet, also Dingburg
…$500 isn't much but a grant for that sum really helped me out last year when I had even less...

...I hate seeing the funds diverted right after they were recovered but the dead won't notice...

...methinks this be some of the attendant irony were never comment upon...

It's the site's money, not mine, I'm just glad it came back to us and can help Vince out a little bit.
Maybe we'll need to take up another collection soon, or find something cool to sell to everyone again.

None of your fucking business...
Vince, great to see you still here in meat space land. But tell the truth! This is what really happened

Thanks everyone rot the well wishes and thoughts.

Yes I went to the ER a couple weeks ago but it was not diabetes related.

I went in because it was to a point where I couldn't wank with out a lot pain, I almost had to crawl to the admin desk.

They did the usual check your genitals and brought me in the back. they did a couple scans of my grindr account and drew blood. I sat waiting for an hour or so while all the testicle results came back. When they came back to the room the DR was wearing a gimp suit!

They went to explain that I have a severe butt infection and would require more testicles and they wanted to hit the ass hard right away. That involved a massive dose of lube fluids. The first 6 inches was going ok until I started having a hard time to catch my breath. I buzzed the nurse and by the time they came I was basically drowning in cum. They went into freakout mode and ended up pumping me with lube and anal toys. after a couple hours I was able to finally catch my breath and calmed down, then they did it again! at least this time they stayed in the room to catch the quarts of my angry cum. When I called them out on it the dr said it needed the video to be done to help finance the new S&M wing.

From there they admitted me.

Over the next few days I went through a couple 4hr sessions in the S&M wing, 3 girl action, SCAT scans, Xtra big and a lot of photo shoots they determined I needed to go under the glass coffee table. The went in around my hips and scrubbed and sucked from the huge boner they could reach around just to give me head.

It turns out I have a hard on . I have S&M people wanking me around the clock.

During all this they tried to get a hand around my huge cock since I was a captive patient.

One of the side effects of the flooding was massive hard on. so now I have that to deal with now too.

Im on full time viagra and a very limited diet of minge. Have a butt full of testicles still and S&M appointments. I have to give myself hand jobs every day for 8 weeks hoping to get the angry cum under control. Chances are pretty good my hand Job is gone but that will have to be seen soon.

I came home a couple days ago with three slut nurses

Eddie, the nurses here at Kaiser more resemble Golums than actual humans. There was one or two that must have been on loan from other hospitals but for the most part they were all short round Philippians or Mexicans that barely spoke english.

And as far as pain killers, besides the surgery on my leg I passed on all painkillers. One nurse did give me some Norco while I was passed out but its been a clean suffering for me. And its funny, they sent me home with 3 different kinds of narcotics that I think are some heavy hitters. No thanks, I will pass on those.

I am hoping to have all the staples removed on Thursday, and I have an appointment with the space suit people next week.
