Been 10 years since i went there.. this time on 2 wheels instead of a quad..

For the un-initiated on the subject, the lake and surroudings is owned by a compagny who used y
To dump bauxite mineral/caustic residue into the lake .. the stuff is very high in PH.. something around 10 -11.. so every year they dump 16 tank truck loads of acid into the lake to bring it back to a neutral 7.. or so.. .they use pumps like the one in the thats in a cabin on the water to mix up the acid with the residue.. its pretty bright orange and toxic for the skin and vegetation..as you can see in the pics..

The lake is here on google map..

And don't get me started on the OTHER lake which is ALOT worst and harder to access and still being used as a dumping sight ..seen here..

Did ya read the post? LOL. He talks about it. Dumping acid in to drop the ph. And yes the ram mount mirrors are expensive but the are oh so nice
Yeah the mirrors are cool.. if you drop the bike and knock on they just turn or fold out of the way instead of breaking..

And folding them when in delicate stuff is nice too
