"CMP, TN just finished up a head and cams V2 package. Stock pistons and rods. Green line is stock with stage 3 gears and exhaust. Red is V2 head/cams with very safe pump gas tune with timing pulled and afr set real rich. Blue is same as red but with safe race gas tune. The red line breaks up a bit up top do to conservative timing and rich mixture. Once moving under a load this will be smooth. "

I could have got 10 more rwhp and torque with a more aggressive tune but this is a street bike not a race bike so i went safe.

My bike has more power than this one :) ..... at 40% throttle it makes 300 rwhp!

So lets talk tires for a minute, since nothing I know thats DOT legal are rated for those kind of speeds.

I am going with slicks, i need a 200/60 Pirelli SC2 for the taller aspect ratio and 19-38 gearing for a theoretical top speed of 265mph (speedo) minus 5% known error equals 251.75 mph gps speed.

Past real tests prior to current mods 234 mph speedo = 223 mph gps.

I have also lowered the bike in the front forks and added rear links for better aero and added an LSR Busa front mudguard.

The chain was fine we had trouble with the clutch and had to buy thicker plates , longer springs, etc... to hold above 320 rwhp.

If you bring it to the upcoming Texas Mile, please let me know so we can set up some kind of mini labusas lunch for you when you're in the area.

all due respect here... there are turbo charged bikes with double your HP holding the clutch just fine.
There is only so much static spring pressure that can be applied to the pressure plate. Then its weighted arms/lockup time. If youre not drag racing its pretty elementary.

Stage 3 SC gears = 28 psi .... which is the limiting factor of this bike, the SC cannot flow anymore CFM so regardless of what else you do, excluding Nitrous or Methanol race gas, you wont get any more power!

I got bike back this weekend and buried the needle for the first time ......... :)

After hitting redline in 5th gear at 210mph and going into 6th the damn front wheel came off the ground (while flat on the tank) as i accelerated up to 220 mph gps speed ...... then had to slow down due to traffic. (all pump gas) What a ride !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

..... and the bike has been lowered at the front and the rear to improve aerodynamics!

We are also doing data logging and it is a nice safe 12.1 AFR at WOT on pump gas.

Simply amazing! All that and no need to even see the crankshaft or compress a piston ring. :frEEk:
