Wasn’t really interested in it that much but thought it was a good price. This is what I’m trying to get but I have to sell my little Toyota first :screama: ... in our home (and I’m sure many others) my toy account is totally separate from the household account and the two shall never meet and comingle

On the buckle of the Bible Belt.
87 ft. pounds is not huge torque. My 1301 cc has a lot more.
And would make a lousy cruiser engine. Yours makes over 100, but at 7000rpm.

The goose makes its peak torque at less than 3000rpm. Better for lugging around a 700lb bike.

Gotta remember, it might be FI and 4 valves, but it's still air-cooled.

I hate it when Craiglisters delete their posts.
Just mark it as "sold". Geez.

In a big fuckin' valley in the woods.
Ah the Dohicky, subject of many internet larger than life tales. I have only seen one fail on the first generation KLR's, for 2008 they increased the thickness considerably. Never saw a newer one fail.
