Usually it's already cooked, all you do is keep it warm or warm it up.

By the way, Dearborn sausage is awesome!

And ask them when you pick it up, they are experts! Are you going to the Delray store to pick it up? That's my wife's old neighborhood, lovely area of Detroit. (Really, it's not too bad at all)

Nothing says "I don't want to marry your daughter" like a ham soaked in gasoline then lit on fire on her parents' dinner table.
It's no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

All relative, to you and I, not too bad at all.....but I used to hang out by the funeral parlor off Dragoon and head down towards Zug looking for 2 wheeled trouble.
When in doubt, gas it. It may not solve the problem, but it will end the suspense.

I went there as an ad hoc catering gofer a few times.

Quite the tour for a white bread Troy boy!

I was dumb, not nearly concerned as I should have been.

Low and slow, don't turn it to mush.
That's as bad as drying out.

    Foil is your friend.

This is what I do to ham.

I get brown sugar in a bowl and mix in coco cola in a bowl to I get a paste like texture. I would make enough of that paste as to cover the whole ham with about 1/16 to 1/8 inch of that paste.

put the ham on some heavy duty aluminum foil making sure you have enough foil as to enclose the ham in, then pat on the brown sugar on the ham and make sure to get the whole ham covered with it, after the ham is covered with the paste you then enclose the ham with the aluminum foil as to make a sealed baking foil, this will keep the juice and stuff from flowing out. Put the sealed ham in a baking or roast pan as a safety catch just in case any juices should leak out.

Pre heat oven to 225 deg and set the ham in the oven to cook for 8-10 hours. Slow cook. I normally would prepare my ham before 7pm and have the ham out of the oven by 7am the next day. I use a gas oven so it might be a little difference in cooking time for electric oven since I believe the gas oven gives out a more even heat.

This will be the best ham you ever eaten hands down.

This is what I do with a ham...

    1. Go into the refrigerator, take out ham.
    2. Throw ham in garbage.
    3. Buy a brisket.
    4. Smoke then eat brisket.

Meh... honey baked hams aren't bad eating, but they're just not as tasty as a properly smoked and cured country ham.

I agree with Tim...all it needs is heating up. It's already completely cooked and seasoned. Doing anything else will just MESS IT UP.

I still remember touring the bottling plant on Woodward. Still can have all I want, a local grocery store carries it. Vernor's Float, the best on a hot day.

Foil will make it mush, since it locks all the juices and kind of steams it.
I use it for last few hours of smoking, to add moisture into meat I'm cooking.
Left long enough, it turns pulled pork into a mush...

With fully cooked ham, all you do is warm it up and serve.
