    Default zx12r rectifier/ regulator upgrade

    when you want to get rid of the old fire hazard rectifier install a new RICKS ELECTRIC MOSFET unit.it run so much cooler.cut off old connectors and use new metal sleeve connectors that you will soldier on.the new unit is 150.00 shipped and is an upgrade.also make sure you test your stator per the service manual specs.it might be fried also but thats more money.

    Shit... I wish I would have seen this post a while ago. I replaced my stator (2nd time now) and put the newer style of regulator on this time.
    Life's journey is not to arrive at our grave safely in a well preserved body but, rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Shit what a ride!"
